Our Halloween Weekend....

We had a very busy Halloween Weekend!

On Friday evening we went to John and Mandy's annual 'Friday Night Fright' Party. Boyd and I dressed up as Greek Gods and Ryeland wore his Silly Clown costume. Ryeland was a little bummed that he was the only kid - so we ended up going home earlier than most of the guests, but it was fun to be dressed up and enjoy some treats and drinks with our friends!

Saturday night was Jon and Dedra's Pumpkin Carving party. SO FUN! There were plenty of kids for Ryeland to run around with and Boyd and I enjoyed socializing with our adult friends and we all had chili and cornbread. YUM* When it was time to carve the pumpkins in the garage, I gave Ryeland the sharpie and he started drawing his face (like he would on a peice of paper - it was SUPER SMALL!) We laughed and told him to draw it bigger and HE DID. hahaha. the eyes were huge! -But when Boyd carved his hand-drawn creation it turned out SO CUTE!

(you can see the tiny face he started in the left eye)

Sunday we met up with my Mom, Elsa and Joseph for an hour or so of Trick-Or-Treating. Ryeland had a blast and ran from house to house happily gathering more and more candy. The grand total at the end of the night was about 115 pieces - (but we ate a bunch too).

We had a great Weekend - I love Halloween - because it is the start of the Holiday Season!
