Happy Halloween!
Our Home-made mummy costumes turned out great - but we will probably never do this again!
It was a huge hassle!
We also kept burning ourselves because we hot-glued the pieces together. But the end result was great because we combined tea-stained cheese cloth and muslin for a more realistic effect complete with ties and a few straggling hanging pieces. We had a good time at the John and Mandy Koleszar's Halloween Party. I love this time of year. Up next: My mom's 50th Birthday Party and then Thanksgiving! <3
Here is a photo of Ryeland dressed up as a Mummy (the night before Halloween) when we went to a little party at my coworker Dedra's house! (he was not happy - he was hot and claustrophobic so we had to take the costume off right after this lone photo was snapped)
