4th of july weekend was great! Boyd and I painted a little each day - and by the end of the 3-day weekend we have 3 walls in the living room painted! -woohoo! (photos to come soon)
To kick off the weekend on Friday evening a bunch of friends got together to play volleyball and bbq and swim at Jessica's apartment complex - it was a lot of fun. The monsoons came and we got rained on a little, but it was fine. Everyone loved Boyd's Jamaican Jerk Chicken kabobs too!
On the 4th we swam at Grandma Gwens and then we grilled hot dogs and hamburgers outside and had a fun dinner, then we went to see the fireworks that night. It was Ryeland's first time- and we hadn't seen fireworks in 3 or 4 years so we were all really excited. The Apache Junciton show was great - it was 25 minutes long too! It was hot and humid, but we had a great time.
On Sunday Boyd and I painted a bunch more, relaxed, went out to lunch and saw the Hangover...it was hilarious! We had an awesome weekend! now it's back to work!
